To stop at Combrit Sainte-Marine is to travel in the charm of the
Past. This heritage attraction has everything from a historic district in which it is good to stroll, have a drink and enjoy a pancake or a dish on the many terraces.
Divided between village, countryside and seaside: chapels, washhouses, lighthouses and monuments give the keys to its history… Sainte-Marine opens the doors of its Marine Shelter, a must-see visit to this magnificent pink house on the harbour. At the forefront, Fort Napoleonien hosts exhibitions throughout the summer.
The stunning view of the city of Benodet will make you want to cross the Odet on foot, by bike or by boat. The crossing of the Cornish Bridge is a magical moment: to see the Odet, its countless sailboats docked, its immense mouth on an infinite sea, and in good weather, offshore, guess Les Glénan.
In Combrit, there is a wetland to protect. This polder is home to many species of the bocage. The path bordering the Odet is wooded and shady. Nature is all around you and the walk turns into an ornithological, botanical or simply mushroom picking. The roses of the rhododendrons contrast with the green of the trees and everything is reflected in the water.
